History and Experience

Amity Construction Company was founded in May of 1982. Since then, Amity has specialized in tenant finish out. With a degree in engineering, Bob Ellerd started working for Amity Construction Company in April of 1983. He bought the company toward the end of 1992 and has been running the company successfully and debt-free ever since. 

Amity has a reputation among subcontractors for being one of the fairest to work for and for paying invoices promptly. This enables Amity to attract better subcontractors and provide their customers with better service. Amity also keeps a staff of experienced and reliable employees on its payroll for drywall, carpentry, ceilings, and demo.

By keeping its own qualified staff, Amity finds it easier to control jobs and address their customer’s needs. Management companies across the metroplex have learned to depend on Amity for all their building’s construction needs. Amity also has a great deal of experience in building medical and dental offices with well over a hundred projects complete to date.
